, I ordered a strand to hang on the four-poster bed. I plugged it into my outlet controlled by a light switch and everything worked great. However, I needed another thread to complete my project. I ordered another one and when I plugged it in everything went wrong. The lights don't sync and they don't stay on what you want when connected. Every time I flip the switch to turn them on, I have to find each box in the chain and set it to what I want. And the lights don't start with the same program, each strand does what it wants. Currently, one thread is slowly fading while the other flickers. Totally independent and all I did was include her. So I thought I might have a defective product. I contacted the seller and they asked for information about my Whatsup app which I found ridiculous. I contacted Revain who handled the replacement orders and this is how I got 2 brand new skeins. Connected them together and the SAME! If I were to do an elaborate Christmas design, I'd be pissed that they don't work the way they should. However, if you only have one strand, they seem to work just fine! Very nice and warm light. I want them to work so I don't have to find a longer strand to remake my bed.
