I used to buy one of these toilet seats for my apartment. Everything seemed fine, but after six months I had to move out and I didn't want to take him with me. .I bought another one for my new location six months ago. The bathroom is white wood paneled like the apartment I lived in at the time and the seat cushion fitted perfectly. But six months later he just collapsed. The toilet seat was installed according to the instructions and didn't wobble at all. I'm a bit heavier than I'd like (140 pounds if you're curious) but I'm definitely not a tall woman. And I'm the heaviest person to sit in this seat since I bought it. It just popped under pressure! I bought it because it matched my decor and because it was "wood". I believe molded wood is not the same as real wood. If it was a cheap Home Depot toilet seat, I wouldn't be too upset if I had to replace it after six months. But I feel like I made a deal with a bum.
