Kit includes 35,000 durable hooks. In my experience, "long life" is a misnomer. Strangely, I have another (cheaper) random orbital sander, not as good as Bosch, but velcro sanding pads have never let me down. for very good orbital sanders. However, I use these pads (5 in 3 years). Why are you talking. For example, when the grinding wheel breaks off while grinding, and the hooks of this sanding pad touch something without the grinding wheel. There's a $12 gasket in the sewer here. The experts at the wood supply store also tell me that if you apply force, the gasket heats up and the velcro hooks melt (not a problem I've had). So, like I said, a necessary evil. Of course, if you want to use your good Bosch grinder, you need this. I'm glad Revain is selling them and with Premiere I can get one fast. (I always have a new one in reserve)
