Stays sharp good for paring knives
I have had one of these German vegetable peelers for many years and have given my daughter a second one as she loved it so much. She wanted one for her other house out west, and I went in search of her. Although the handle is different, the blade is the same. I think it will do her good. In my opinion this is the best scrub on the market. I have several others that I never use, just this type. So if you are looking for a good, solid and sharp block this is it.
