I bought this for my elderly cat who was starting to get food allergies and was pulling out her hair. I tried a few other solutions first, but this works best. An Elizabethan collar was recommended but we try to get her to eat proteins other than chicken to no avail. I wanted her to be able to eat easily. Kitty weighs just over 14 pounds so I took her size L. They fit her and she wore them for about 5 days before I took them off to wash. It looks tight but is quite stretchy and seems to fit her really well. Reminds me of leggings. He's soft too. It has an adjustable collar, however this will loosen over time, although this is not enough to be a problem. It just slides back towards the tail. In any case, she can still walk without any problems and use the litter box. She can still reach up on her feet and peel off some fur, but she's doing so less and less as she finally eats LID salmon. I can't speak for her about comfort. At first she wasn't happy wearing it, but she seems to have gotten used to it. I would have given it 5 stars but after washing it I noticed the collar and piping around the leg holes were very fuzzy but the bodysuit still looks good and is otherwise serviceable. I plan to order another 1 to replace it.
