Review on 🌡️ HOLDPEAK 981C Non Contact Digital Laser Infrared Thermometer -58 to 1022℉ (-50 to 550℃) with 9V Battery, Instant-Read, Data Hold, High/Low Temperature Warning by Eric Basler

This is an excellent device for measuring the overall temperature of very cold or hot surfaces (with a range of -58°F to 1022°F which is definitely my area of interest) . This is of course not very accurate, at best +-2C (approx. +-4F) is given. From my testing, this is about what I found. Of course, it's not accurate enough to accurately measure a person's body temperature — that's not what it's designed for. It has lots of nice features like a laser pointer that you can turn on or off to make sure you're measuring in exactly the right area. It has nice modes like min and max that allow you to track the min or max temperature as you move the pointer over the surface to find a hot or cold spot - it shows you the current temperature at each spot, but freezes. Minimum or maximum (selectable) as long as you keep the shutter button pressed. It has an auto shut off to save batter when not in use (nice). It comes with a 9v battery - much appreciated as it's annoying to have something delivered and not be able to use it straight away as there's no battery available. It comes with above average instructions and specs detailing the usage and accuracy specs. Overall I am very impressed with this industrial/automotive device. Use it at a very good price around $13 with free shipping to your door within 2 days. No complaints from my side.
