This is a louse found on my daughter's head. All the lice are already dead and my daughter is fine! This video was filmed by holding a video camera to the eyepiece of our AmScope M100C LED model, so the actual image isn't as tunneled through your eye. We put the louse on the prepared foil, this is the pink stuff in the first part of the video. He was lying on his back so you can see his legs moving. The first nine seconds of this video is at 40x and the rest is at 100x. We also looked at the louse at 400x magnification, but I couldn't get a decent video at that magnification. If you really need photos or videos, consider another microscope with a built-in camera. It was a nice, educational, and gross way to show my daughter what was really on her mind. We also looked at nits and another louse with blood on their body at 100x and 250x magnification, but we didn't video them. There are no complaints about the microscope at all; It is solidly built and of good quality. I look forward to many years of use.
