Review on VISLONE Conditioning Refrigerant Refrigeration Charging by Mike Mitchell

These ball valves have become necessary primarily because they prevent unnecessary refrigerant loss when connecting or disconnecting a pressure gauge to the service ports. The closed handles appear to be of lower quality, but they do the job. My biggest complaint: I couldn't replace the gasket as it was hard plastic. I ended up destroying one of the plastic spacers along with the pusher. I have a whole bag of Yellow Jacket rubber padding that I couldn't use. I need a set with a good seal. These shut-off valves are cheap, but since they are maintenance-free, they are useless in the long run. Not a good buy!
