I bought 2 of these, one for my bike and one for my daughter. Our bikes don't have pre-drilled holes for bottle cages so I figured that would solve the problem. It didn't work at all. There are holes in the stainless steel clamp, but they are so far apart that it doesn't fit perfectly anywhere on our bike: not on the seat post, not on the handlebars, not on the stem, not on the frame. The clamp is too small to even go around the main frame and too loose on the seatpost or anywhere on the handlebars. It just twists and drops the bottle cage so it's parallel to the ground and in the way. There must be a better design to solve this problem! I think we'll use the old method of attachment or we'll have to drill our frames (which I really would rather not do). I am returning both. However, Revain makes returns/refunds easy, so no complaints.
