I like everything, the price and the quality are both ok.

After using the gadget for half a year, I'll share some thoughts about it. In exchange for purchasing from the official online store, I received a set of Buds Pro and three wireless charging mats. As the smartphone is so little to begin with, it was purchased as a replacement for a Note 8 whose battery had entirely expired after 2.5 years of use. Cameras shaped like holes don't worry me because I don't care about the dimensions. The screen and proportions are significantly larger than those of the Note 8, but I prefer the Note series' crisper edges. Even though side bevels are now less obvious, I still count myself among those who favor rounder displays. I prefer them visually and tactilely. The biggest wow factor came from 120Hz; after experiencing such silkiness, it was difficult to look back at the more common 60Hz on the older Note 8. The remaining parts of the interface were familiar; I really appreciate the simplicity of One UI. Regarding the cameras, the main camera did not perform a miracle for me, but rather, the issues sprang from my own high hopes. The camera's zoom is a great feature, and I make frequent use of it; nevertheless, it is important to note that regular use is only achievable in adequate illumination (although I also liked the results of 10x in night mode). The Note 8's lack of breadth was a dealbreaker for me, and I was glad when I upgraded. Not having anything else to gauge success against, I'm content with the outcomes. His videos shot in the dark had a lot of background noise, which is something I didn't appreciate. In my experience, this is a sad but uncommon occurrence. After the Note 8, the battery life lasts all day without the need for a can. My primary issue is with the communication. Just like my Note 8, it freezes up and seems to perform poorly. To get it to stop flashing a fake 4g + with an arrow and start downloading, I have to repeatedly switch it to airplane mode. Sim card swapping has no effect. You keep buying new software in the hopes that things will improve, but they never do.

Pros
  • Design: 120fps at max 3200x1440 resolution Fuel cell Performance - Zoom lens for the camera
Cons
  • Enhanced low-light video recording quality - reprehensible cell service, at least on devices powered by Exynos fingerprint scanner (dry finger does not recognize at all, at least kill yourself) - Taking out the MSTs (rarely used, but sometimes helped a lot) Disabling the heart rate monitor (it would be useful in the current covid times, but it was removed after the 10th series) - doing rid of the retinal scanner (wearing a mask all the time made it easy to unlock the phone and use SPay; it was also quite useful in the colder months, but now you're stuck using a fingerprint or PIN).
