Overall concept is good and quality is acceptable but the plug and socket for my typical extension cord and outdoor lighting is too long when connected together so both do not fit fully inside the inner lid to provide complete weather protection. I had to install an inner cover around one plug and an outer cover around the other with just enough overlap to provide some weather protection. A generic longer version is required or the description should better explain the maximum length of the connected cables for a complete fit.
