Pro: My original TomTom suction cup no longer sticks to the windscreen. The twist lock no longer jammed, allowing the entire mount to fall off the windshield at the slightest jar or just at will. This ChargerCity Easy Click OEM mount is great for windshield mounting. I think the locking mechanism is much better and I don't see how it can fail or go bad. I don't even have to pre-wet the suction cup. Cons: Although my TomTom moved at the slightest touch of the screen, this ChargerCity mount just folds down when the car warms up. My TomTom Go 2505TM was face down when I got in the car. It was about 68 degrees outside on a cloudy day, but of course the inside of the car warmed up to about 85 degrees after I was in the store for 30 minutes. Luckily my dashboard is set up so I can rest the bottom of the TomTom adapter on the dashboard to support it. I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could. I wish the ball joint was a little firmer or had more friction to keep the TomTom in its set position. I understand it can skid on bumpy roads, but if you're driving on the freeway it should stay put.
