I originally wanted to buy Damn Tough but couldn't bring myself to pay $16 for a pair of socks. After much research I decided to try Danish Endurance. At first glance they seemed quite thick and I feared my feet would be on fire with over 100 degrees on our upcoming hikes. On the first day of Zion's trek and 10 miles later, my socks didn't get wet and my feet didn't blister or burn. I carried two other pairs in my backpack for our other Utah day trips and each pair held up just like the first pair.
