I already have a larger Petz 360 Petz gate and was so pleased I ordered an extension to block the smaller door opening. I understand that I bought it "used with no stains or defects" but it is not of the same quality as the first item I ordered. First off it had a few scratches that were treated with a scratch repair product. Although they are located along the top rail and are visible, they are rather insignificant. The real problem is that the "plug" covering the hole and the screw that attaches the top of the hinge to the gate are missing. This exposes unfinished wood and looks cheap. My other gates don't require a stub or end cap as the hole that the hinge goes into doesn't go through the top track. It's much more attractive. Also the way the different wooden parts of the gate fit together is not as accurate and clean as the other. All of these factors combined could be the reason why a previous customer returned it. It works well and is still far more attractive than most pet gates I've seen and I'll keep it to myself but I've learned my lesson and won't be buying it again no matter what the description says.
