After about an hour of fiddling I figured out the direction. You need to understand Chinguish to understand the direction. aProgramming is an exercise in patience. But it's cool when you do something. This is for backup. I suggest hooking it up to a battery with more wires so you can play around with it before hooking it up more permanently. The Set button and the C/F buttons work together differently. The alarm works fine. I intend to only use it to take temperature and not run any air conditioning or heating. This will be the part of the solar system where I want to know if the battery box is getting too hot or freezing. Apart from that, it also shows me the actual temperature. The LED lights are nice and big. It's kind of a toy because I have other products that are better for battery and cable temperatures.
