NOTE: Before proceeding, make sure you have (or can fit) a plug through which you can read this when the display is just after outside shows the fork. (The reading angle is about 170 degrees.) Also, make sure you can live without this plug. If you can't say yes to both, you should probably get another one. The batteries in my car's built-in tire pressure monitors are dead and cannot be replaced; You'll have to replace everything, at over $500 a set. If I knew how beautiful it is I wouldn't have waited so long to get it. It's so nice to see the actual tire pressure readings, even more than I expected. And it will still make noises like an embedded system when something is wrong. It also controls temperature, not just pressure. And you can set whatever threshold you want, although the default should be fine for almost everyone (I haven't changed it). It is usually as accurate as any mechanical sensor. Anytime I hear an unusual noise, I can wait a second and look at the tire pressure, which still shows a normal reading. I see it gaining 3 pounds on the way to work. I can tell when the weather has changed so I want to add a few pounds. And what is the best? The cost of the entire kit is less than replacing ONE of the TPMS wheel blocks. The battery is replaceable. There is a lock nut to fasten it; this makes them harder to steal and keeps them at 100mph+. Cons: They're a bit ugly, although most people don't notice them. They're big enough and I'm worried about damaging one of them on the curb, although I've scratched two curbs since I've had them and they're still perfect. Also, readings can fluctuate by a pound or two, especially at the end of a trip. In general I am very happy with them.
