Review on Harney & Sons Victorian London Fog: Exquisite Black Tea ☕️ with Bergamot, Lavender, and Vanilla in a Grey Tin – 30 Sachets by Mike Ken

If you like shyness in a cup, this might be for you

I fell in love with London Mists a few years ago and made them myself with Harney's Earl Gray tea, but thought it might be tastier to buy a specially designed London Mist already made and ready to use . But this tea is disappointing. If it had the richness of Harney's Earl Gray tea with vanilla and London Mist lavender, I would love this tea. I couldn't believe his bad taste after the first cup, so I took another to make sure the blah blah factor didn't put me off. I wasn't wrong, it was just too smooth, soft, and I hoped with every sip that the body would rise and charm me, but it just didn't have the power from the start and stayed too shy for me. Doubling the amount of tea in bags didn't encourage me either. I will try to distribute this tea or just throw away the bags and leave a container for other loose tea that I might buy in the future. I hate doing this, but I want more flavor than colored water. I am very fond of Harney Earl Gray tea but will be looking for an even more flavored Earl Gray. If I can't find it, I'm happy with Harney's Earl Gray and will continue to make a much more attractive and cheerfully scented London Fog with it. Anyone who likes "light" tea will love "London Fog". Harney's has other teas that I love, especially cinnamon tea which has an AMAZING strength that I strive for.

Pros
  • FLAVORS. As in the fragrance, sweet notes of vanilla intertwine with hints of bergamot and lavender.
Cons
  • Almost everything is there
