Review on 🗺️ Garmin Nuvi 2589LMT - North America GPS with Lifetime Map Updates and Traffic Avoidance by Matt Minette

Selling due to the misconception that everything you need for traffic is in the box. Garmin does not state on its website or in the product manual that the car charger does not come with the required built-in receiver. Seller must have seen other reviews stating this. Shame on your seller for not making this clear. The included "TA10" cable comes straight from Garmin devices with many. My old device, nüvi 2589, is almost identical, but no HD traffic, just normal traffic. It comes with TA10 and it works. I suspected maybe a bad car charger receiver so I put both in the same car and swapped the wires. Of course, 2589 traffic without HD traffic worked with both TA10 chargers. HD Traffic 2599 gave the same message with both chargers that it is not the right charger. I'm upset about this. Garmin doesn't even state in the manual that the correct car charger is an optional accessory and why. The car charger that HD Traffic works with is the GTM60, which is $70 on Garmin and $60 on Revain. Very unfair and irresponsible on the part of the manufacturer and seller.
