Seems to be a good chain lube - does what it says on the bottle. The chain runs smooth and quiet between uses and is generally cleaner than the rock 'n' roll gold I used last year. It's a wax, not an oil. It works slightly differently than oil and should be cared for slightly differently for best results. Follow the instructions to the letter. Start with a thoroughly clean transmission, apply as directed, after every few rides wipe down the chain with a dry clean rag to brush off any loose wax (along with any accumulated dirt). Reapply when needed (tip: not very often), degrease and do not use detergents on the chain, but wipe regularly with a clean cloth. Make sure you do this the day before your ride if you want to re-lube - let it soak into the chain and let the carrier (I think water) evaporate overnight. I've heard you can speed this up with a hair dryer if you have one. but why bother? Just plan ahead. In the early 2000's I was the guy at Pedro's Ice Wax – something like that. only better.
