Review on 🔌 Belkin Ultra-Slim Series 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub: Organize and Expand Your USB Connectivity by George Halbohm

I bought this product to use with my new iMac. I've been using this company's products for many years (usually their surge protectors, which have always worked well). My iMac has 4 USB ports on the back of the screen which are pretty hard to reach where my device is. I bought this device to ensure availability of USB ports on my desktop. After a quick and easy installation, I soon found that even though this hub has 7 ports, my new computer was giving me a message that the system was overloaded after using 2 ports. I was able to connect all 7 ports to devices at the same time, but only 2 could be turned on at the same time. I made the mistake of turning on the backup hard drive and printer when I turned on the third. The device and hub stopped working completely and permanently. The hub blew up and luckily the iMac connector on the back was fine. End of story and Belkin 7-port USB hub.
