Very good medium weight paper for pencils and colored pencils. I think it's about heavy weight, but I don't think it's for me. It's 111 pounds of paper. I wouldn't use water-soluble pencils either, but I really like the texture. I think this is going to be one of my favorite pens as I love the texture of the paper. I don't like smooth parchment as I do a lot of layers and eventually smooth paper just won't take the pen after a few layers. I'm also looking for a fluffy paper that feels like velvet, but haven't found anything suitable yet. The other is great as you don't have to buy two different types of paper for what you need for different techniques.
