Item works exactly as described, but as others have pointed out, the literature it comes with is terrible.Helpful Hint: the "On" screw points on the barrier strip are different. One's normal state is ON and one is OFF. I was trying to set up a momentary ON switch for a piece of recording equipment and was stumped there for a second. Moved to the Inside ON point and voila! Works great now.
