After plastic-armed helping hands, it's cool. The arms appear strong and strong and can be positioned and held fairly precisely. The light can be bright enough or dark enough. The loupe has a slight sweet spot, but I mainly use it for lighting. As long as it's safe My only concern (and still is) is how long the alligator clips will last. They look exactly like the ones I had that crumbled like warm butter, but they all basically look the same, so hopefully they're sturdier. I want to find the best option. Before I knew what it meant, they were all calling them roach clips, and over the years I've found that to be a good name since alligator skin clips tend to hold onto anything hard, smooth, stiff, or anything that does this pretty badly Doesn't feel right on roaches but that's what they all use in my experience.
