They suit us well. As other reviewers have noted, they are very small. My kids love the larger ones I bought (same brand). I knew they were small but they are actually smaller than I imagined. The puzzle mat is definitely useless. It's hard to put together and it definitely doesn't stay together to build on. Another reviewer said she sealed the back with tape which is a great idea but I didn't have the patience, this is one of the worst puzzles I've seen. My little one is actually very good at puzzles at the age of 3 and gave up pretty quickly despite my help. It's a cute idea but they're too small for what my little ones prefer and I thought they'd love to build buildings but that part doesn't interest them at all so the drawings and letters actually put them off because they know that it means something . more about what to do with them, but without a playmat or something to play with ideas, they didn't find much interest in them. I've tried to show them what we can build and my toddler often wants to build what's on the box but I threw it away because they were poorly packaged, stuff was stuffed in the box and the lid was missing, like that that it was strangely glued together. The other large Lewo blocks I ordered came in a box with a red top, so I'm guessing this box was supposed to be like that, but was repackaged for some reason. I had to go back and see if I had accidentally ordered an open box, which I didn't. It wasn't a good buy for me anyway but based on the reviews other kids love them and maybe mine will explore them a bit more in the future which is why I gave them 4 stars especially considering how they were repackaged. I think it's fair.
