We gave this to our labrador for her birthday. It was really cute, but the head and tail were gone in 10 minutes. The knotted rope legs lasted about half an hour. Over a month later, she still loves playing fetch with the shell though. That's about what I expected.What I didn't expect was that the turtle shell has become her favorite toy. We ask her "Where's your turtle?" and she runs around the house looking for it. It might have been worth trying to put a treat in the opening of the bottom of the shell right away, so that the head, tail and legs lasted longer, but overall I'm glad that we bought it.
