Review on Wolo 719 Big Chrome Horn by Gerald Hill

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The horn that doesn't blow.

The horn arrived quickly, was fairly easy to install and was very loud. It's been on my bike for a month now (Road Glide Ultra 2013). I was driving home from work on Sunday and managed to honk the horn and there was nothing. When I got home I took it off (put the factory horn back on). The block fell apart, 2 screws were missing and the block didn't work. I contacted the seller (Biker Highway), he called me 24 hours later and agreed to collect the product in exchange (I have to pay shipping). The Biker Highway technician told me the Wolo was made in China and recommended the Stebel (made in Europe) as a more reliable product (I had one on my 2001 Road King, it fell apart due to vibration). I may have received a faulty unit but I'm currently zero for 2 on air horns, they just don't seem strong enough for a Harley (maybe a bit of blue lock-tite on the bolts would help).

Pros
  • Fit: Universal
Cons
  • Expensive
