this blanket was perfect. until you have to wash it. I read the instructions and hand washed it gently in my washing machine and tumble dried as the instructions say and now the heat doesn't work that well. the duvet still gets quite warm, but ONLY in high heat, while the lowest setting was already quite warm before washing. So definitely clean up the stain, let it dry and get very tired of eating/drinking next to that blanket. I accidentally spilled some high pulp orange juice on the comforter, which pretty much cost me the comforter's heating ability. I contacted the seller to ask him why washing and drying his duvet affects the heat settings so much and he simply refunded my money. I don't know how I feel about it. but it's almost as soft as a fleece blanket and I loved it until I washed it! The only annoying thing (apart from the inability to wash the blanket, as they say you can) is that the button on the remote control is very sensitive.
