The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

I was choosing an electric grill for steaks, but when I saw the photo of the raclette dish and read the description, the choice was made in favor of it. Very handy and functional tool. Several times a month, mostly on weekends, we arrange “culinary mayhem” at home, when everyone does whatever they want. Everything from meat to vegetables is used. Almost everything can be cooked on a stone, including scrambled eggs. We have never regretted that we bought a raclette dish, which costs a little more than a regular steak pan (and in our case, taking into account the discount, even cheaper). On the advantages and disadvantages - in the relevant sections.

Pros
  • 1. Multifunctionality; 2. Freedom for culinary fantasy; 3. Saving time for cooking; 4. Convenient for a large company - everyone prepares what he wants.
Cons
  • 1. On both sides of the raclette oven, hot air, reflected from the "working surfaces", heats the table so that eggs can be fried on it. If the countertop is “gentle” to such a temperature difference, it is better to think about what to put; 2. The metal grill surface is difficult to clean. Bearing in mind that it cannot be scratched, you have to make an effort to wipe off the soot with an ordinary sponge; 3. The stone slab absorbs oil and fat over time, and loses its “presentation”. However, this is described in the instructions for the raclette dish and does not affect the cooking process itself.
