Overall I am very satisfied with this device. My level of experience is an amateur welder. I mainly use this helmet for MIG welding. This replaced an auto-dimming Hobart helmet that I had to replace. Visibility before welding is good but you need a very well lit area to see with the clarity shown in the product photos. Adjustment between welds is very convenient. I usually wear it over a welder's hat. The combination turned out to be very useful. It will sit between uses for weeks and has no problems. I would buy it again if needed.
