I brought these in the hope that size 30 shedding problems are rare, but now I can tell you she sheds more than a sickly cat. I have some mimic squirrel hair brushes (not in this set) and I really like them. The ones I had certainly didn't lose that much, so I can't help but wonder if it's just a quality control issue, or if this set of mimics is pretty old and this issue was fixed in a later iteration. Who knows? The hair loss on the 30th was so terrible that my sister and I started playing a game to see how long she would lose her bristles from simple hits (Spoilers: she never really stopped. She was still losing while I repacked to send them back). . In fact, one brush is a problem child in this set, which sucks because it's really the only piece dragging the rest. Unfortunately I cannot replace a brush without replacing the whole set. So if a replacement set has the same issues, my review stands. For a $31 brush set it could have been a lot worse, but the fact that the rest of the brushes are so good is what makes it so sad. So definitely a QA issue.
