I bought this to practice and use in my airgun for shooting rats at close range. The steel is quite thick and will withstand low powered (less than 1000 fps) airguns, but not powerful ones. I fired my Ruger at him at 1200 fps and he almost hit him with a normal hollow point at 1000 fps and up. I shot him with an old Chinese burst action airgun and he recoiled.
