Review on 🔌 Seven Star 220V/110V Step Down Transformer 200W with Italy Travel Adapter Plug (200-IT) by Saumeen Shamoon

This transformer with adapter for Italy was perfect for our trip to Italy. The adapter needed for Italy is different from the adapter for other countries - these are round metal pins with three teeth. The adapter can be detached from the transformer, leaving a two-pin round adapter that also works directly with Italian plugs. This one might work elsewhere in Europe - I'm not sure, but it seems possible. The transformer did its job - it converted the European voltage of 220 V and 50 Hz to the US standard voltage of 110.60 Hz. I had no problems. I was surprised that iPhones didn't need to be charged as they are designed to handle any voltage. However, I needed it for a laptop and a hair straightener. In some hotels the hair straightener didn't get as hot as usual, but I don't think it has anything to do with the transformer. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it's quite heavy. I know I've had a lighter Transformer in the past. Since I wasn't heavily packed and it was left in the hotel room, that wasn't a problem, but it would actually be difficult to lug around.
