The Viva towel is absolutely perfect fit for our house. We wash out hands frequently in the kitchen and grabbing half a towel to dry off is all we need since they are so absorbant. I also use them when I brown meat to absorb the fat from the bottom of the pan. Draining doesn't get it all, so I throw a paper towel in and use my wooden spoon to mop up the residual grease from the bottom of the pan. They are not a shabby napkin when I run out either.
