Review on 63124 Eclipse Black 2 Inch Carrier by Jason Cho

I bought this mainly because it was cheaper than the Allen brand and other more expensive ones. There were a lot of great reviews so it's always nice to save money and get a quality product. It easily holds my mountain bike and my fiancé's road bike and they seem to be very secure on the velcro straps. I tied the wheels of the bikes with bungee cords to keep them from spinning freely and the handlebars from twisting back and forth. I've noticed that the bikes wobble a bit when stopping or accelerating from a standstill, but I've never heard of them hitting bike racks and I'm sure there's a way to fix them secure or buckle up...so that doesn't happen. I haven't taken the bikes on major trips, but they've been cruising the interstate at over 70mph and they haven't flew away, so that's always a good sign! I only have two "negative" things to say about the product. First, the post in my hitch was a little wobbly. I don't think this is a big problem but just to be sure I ordered a hitch tensioner and it helped solve the problem. The second minor issue is that the cable that attaches to the hitch pin on the mainshaft (the one that holds the upright securely but still allows you to lower it to access the trunk) is broken. This is a very minor issue, but the pen still works perfectly. I wish Amazon would let me give 4.5 launches instead of 4 or 5 because the product is really there. Great quality and great product and I highly recommend it!
