After using several coated pans, stainless steel seemed like a good upgrade. The size, weight and first overall impression of this pan was great. After the first session with this pan I was very impressed. Just remember to add oil/butter/fat and bring to temperature first. Cleaning was easy. The pot is nearly 4 inches deep in the center, so a typical 12 ounce can of soda is slightly taller than the depth .)
