Like many people during the pandemic I was forced to work from home. When I live in a studio apartment, workspace is scarce, so I can't afford to fill my entire workspace with monitor stands. I was looking for a monitor stand that could hold 3 or 4 monitors stacked on top of each other and attached to a work surface. Many competitors were in the $100-$200 range, and some of them didn't even have a table clamp. I don't know what person in their right mind would put that much weight (let alone $$$) on a stand and only rely on a stand with legs to hold it up. But I digress. - To meet. As mentioned, this stand is incredibly easy to assemble. Everything comes in 2 boxes (much smaller than you would expect considering how big it actually gets) and labeled in bags. The instructions are very simple and I took my time putting everything together in about 20 minutes. I then spent another 10 minutes managing the cable. You could spend more time on this if you had more OCD than me. Positive impressions. Aside from being easy to assemble, I feel like a monitor stand should just sit, unobtrusively, which is what this does. I have 19 inch monitors at the top, a 15 inch monitor at the bottom right and bottom left is open and I use my laptop in that area. I like that the vertical cord organizers have room for allen wrenches to use during installation. I don't feel that the stand lacks support. I also like how easy it is to set everything up without too much hassle. I also like that I have the option to mount through a grommet. I can't speak about it, but I'm glad it was an option. Also the price was something you can't help but notice. The build quality is excellent for the price. The monitors stay where you put them and you can easily tilt the monitors to your liking. The mechanism for attaching monitors to the stand is also very good. Things that could be improved: - Cable management. As mentioned before, when you reach the bottom you can't pull 8 cables through. Also, the plastic clips that run along the temples are great when there's nothing in them, but they tend to flex a bit when cables run through them. Not bad, but help would be nice. If you use smaller screens like me, you might have trouble hitting all the screens in the middle. This is because the arms don't extend very far from the hinges and can only be folded up to about 65 or 70 degrees. See one of the pictures - spacers included. I'm glad spacers and screws were included, but the ones that came were too big for my smaller 15" portable monitor. I had to cut the plastic spacers in half to make them work. Another set of shorter screws would be nice. This is shown in the second attached image. Things to note: - Will not mount flush with the wall if your table is leaning against the wall. If you are using the maximum size monitors that the stand supports (27 inches for that), you will lose some rear space and therefore desk space. This is not a design flaw. Overall I like this stand 100%. I have small flaws, but I would buy it again. I'll probably buy another arm piece as well if I need to expand in the future, which you can do as well, as I'm pretty sure WALI sells the pieces separately. Highly recommended.
