16' Ratchet Strap
I used this strap to teach a futon to bend so it doesn't slide down when you sit on the futon in sofa mode. The ratchet is on the bottom where it is not visible and a small fold in the futon cover hides the strap on the top. I think I could use a rope to do the same thing, but I could never tighten it like this ratchet does.
