Review on DSD TECH HC-05 Bluetooth Serial Pass-through Module: Seamless Wireless Serial Communication with Arduino Button by Cameron Kennedy

I had a problem pairing the module with my device but was not fully connected. I was unable to use this item as it was intended to be used. Before powering up, I made sure the data pins were connected properly and that the RX pin on the module was not getting more than 3.3 volts when the signal was applied. This item is non-refundable for some reason even though my purchase was made within 30 days and the unit is not working. I can't even get a refund so it's a waste of $10 in my eyes. On closer inspection I saw that the serial monitor was gibberish at 9600 baud (see attached image) and I couldn't get the module into the AT -Shift mode. This product is a waste of money and time.
