Turntable spins really well! It moves so freely I gave it just a tiny nudge and was able to pipe a full circle between layers. However, the directions for use on the items are not very clear. The cake leveler does not have notches all the way up the sides, they only go half way, so you have to use it for shorter cakes. I’m still not sure why it comes with 2 wires - the directions only show one. Would be 5 stars if not for the directions and leveler problems.
