This was a great and quick purchase. I was in dire need of one of the knick knacks to help with a local high school tech club project. In particular, they do an excellent job of driving Adafruit Neo pixels, controlling LEDs, reading button presses, and other small tasks you might need for quick and easy projects. It's amazing that this thing works well with a tiny LiPo battery. Remember that "serial port" is not a serial port: once you prime the computer and then press the button on the fob, the red light will flash *briefly* before uploading the code. Only then will the sphere "wake up and pay attention" to the computer sending the program over the wire. It's all covered in the manual, but it's worth repeating so you don't get frustrated/frustrated.
