Installation went well but I had to adapt the cables to the physical nature of the scooter (Ninebot). The cables just hang over the hinge where the scooter folds and there isn't a good way to route them without tying the cables into the hinge on the scooter. The glue was fine, but the front of the LED strips fell off after about a week, even after doing alcohol etc. I used some zip ties to get it working but then the LED strips just failed - one complete and one strip only about 2 inches worked in a couple of weeks which was literally 2 or 3 rides I think. And yes, the design is missing. You have to unplug the USB connector, undo the velcro, pull out the battery to turn it on, and then put everything back in place. Again a great concept but the design needs some thought and the strips should last for more than a week.
