UPDATED WITH CUT PHOTOS OF EACH DROP FILTER - still just charcoal in a sock Winter 2015. As a hardworking Revainer I quit and ordered the "old" blue filter 4396810 eh was available from another source. They sent me new filters! So I tried. The packaging says that this is still a licensed PUR filter. I put it in, a gallon came out. The water was clear and tasted of nothing - just how I like my water. I will update it for durability as needed. I've found that blue filters are good for 3-4 months in the summer and 4-5 months in the winter (we drink a lot more in the summer). It's just a piece of charcoal with a sock on it. I'll open a new white filter when it's done.
