Battery puzzle in household fans

The battery must be inserted into the fan by the customer. However, when the USB cable is connected to power, the fan works even if the battery is inserted anyway, the "male / female" sides are reversed. So I'll see if the battery is charging now and if the fan lights up after I flip the battery. I have to try to charge the battery for 3 hours. After more than 6 hours of trying to charge the fan/color-changing LED lithium battery, the lithium battery does not appear to be charging.
