wrong size, strange packaging

I have many little critters that I could use this with. . . Hospital aquarium for mice, hermit crabs, hatched snakes, large tarantulas, etc. Although this is a good aquarium, I have to say a few words about it. There was a lot of damage before shipping compared to the manufacturer but there is a crack on the top of the tank as well as a defect that looks like melted plastic. There are also some black spots on the screen. The second problem is that the measurements are wrong. Tank I received dimensions of 15.25x7.75x9.75. Keep in mind that these are external dimensions, so the actual usable space for critters will be slightly smaller. The packaging is definitely weird. It is marked as a "climbing pet", which is not suitable for it as it has a smooth surface and the package does not contain a climbing net, which is shown on the package. It also talks about things like "overthrow of traditions" which are probably translation issues. Still, it's a good little tank if it's arrived intact. The bottom is a solid piece of plexiglass to prevent water and soil from spilling out. The lid snaps securely even though there are three latches and I only have two hands. There is a front window that can be pulled out to reveal feeders that are held in place by a magnet. I don't see any way for an animal to push it out or open it. There are small plastic latches to hold the top on the bottom. There are air holes on three sides of the lid and a mesh at the top, so there should be adequate airflow without drafts. If you put a small snake or other critter inside, all I can see is how they escape through the two holes in the mesh cover. This is handy for inserting a temperature probe and letting the wire come out, but make sure to cover the other hole as I caught a corn snake trying to escape. Made in China.
