Link missing! Where have you been all my life?

Hard to find! David Bull (woodcarver from Mokuhankan and YouTube) introduced me to this stone. I also use water and nagura, although most will say it's not necessary. I've heard that diamond cutting oil is much better for cutting metal, but I didn't really find it necessary. If I were a professional sharpener, I would probably follow that statement. The 400 side is good for chisel reshaping and knife blade reprofiling, while the 1000 side is ideal for removing moderately aggressive scratches/touch-ups. crazy razor blades. The King 1000 sharpening stone is definitely finer than this 1000. So it could be closer to the 800 or 900 grit, just my opinion. FYI, it is also IDEAL for leveling natural stone Japanese whetstones after use.
