For the price unbeatable!

Very cool stones! I use them to sharpen tools and so far they have held up well. I can't complain about the price either! Because there are different grits on each side, you're effectively getting 2 stones for the price of one. I also have a 150/600 brick and use one side at a time, then turn them over and use their thinner sides. Works perfectly!

Excellent diamond stone for the price

Mine arrived flat and did an excellent job sharpening the chisel, jack, adjusting the jack and sharpening the side plane blade (with Arkansas stone for final sharpening of the planes). Nice thick heavy steel base and anti slip mat to get under the rocks. Much better than the cheap diamond stones you find in the big department stores but not at the high prices of expensive stones. An ideal stone for those who use it from time to time, like me.

Link missing! Where have you been all my life?

Hard to find! David Bull (woodcarver from Mokuhankan and YouTube) introduced me to this stone. I also use water and nagura, although most will say it's not necessary. I've heard that diamond cutting oil is much better for cutting metal, but I didn't really find it necessary. If I were a professional sharpener, I would probably follow that statement. The 400 side is good for chisel reshaping and knife blade reprofiling, while the 1000 side is ideal for removing moderately aggressive…
