
Plus: long. Not just a tube that connects to a hose, but a plastic rod. It's tough and you can push it deep into your gravel. It sucks up gravel unless you pick it up and drop it. If it continues to rise, you can simply pinch the connecting hose and thus reduce the suction power. Cons: Nothing really. Just note that you will have to suck very hard on the hose to pull the water up and out to force the siphon OR buy a nozzle that will do this for you. I'll do that for my next move. I really liked this device. I bought others that said XXL or super long for less. What was "super" long was the flexible drain hose to the hose. Just make sure when comparing siphons.
