Ideal for large aquariums

I have a 90 gallon tank with center braces and I can vacuum almost the entire aquarium from one side without swapping the center brace for a 36 inch vacuum tube. Combined with the rest of the Python system, this extended tube has completely simplified my water/gravel vacuum change process.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Negligible maintenance

Great design! Works well

I have a 30 inch deep tank and this venturi system is fantastic. I keep fancy goldfish that feed champions and this system can clean and fill their tank in just a few minutes. I recommend it to everyone, especially people with disabilities, due to which it is difficult to carry buckets.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Great price

Nice Long Siphon 36 " Version

The 36" version is great. Simply scrape sand at the bottom of a 2ft tall tank without reaching deep or using a stool/chair. BTW the python doesn't clean as well as I like and uses a lot of water when holding on to it. beat. I just use this siphon tube attached to a hose. Let gravity carry it down the drain or in the garden.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Clarity

I hate cleaning my fish tank

I hate cleaning my fish tank. I bought it, it became much easier to work with. I actually just ran the hose through the back patio door to the garden hose to make the connection as my faucets weren't working. It was easy. However, based on past experience, make sure you use or use your own garden hose. Sometimes spiders hang around there and you have to make sure you take water from the city pipes.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • I don't know exactly

It was great for my deep tank.

Plus: long. Not just a tube that connects to a hose, but a plastic rod. It's tough and you can push it deep into your gravel. It sucks up gravel unless you pick it up and drop it. If it continues to rise, you can simply pinch the connecting hose and thus reduce the suction power. Cons: Nothing really. Just note that you will have to suck very hard on the hose to pull the water up and out to force the siphon OR buy a nozzle that will do this for you. I'll do that for my next move. I really liked

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Vulgarity
