Review on 👶 Summer West End Safety Baby Gate - Honey Oak Stained Wood & Slate Metal Frame, 30" Tall, Fits 36-60" Wide Openings - Wide Space & Open Floor Plan Baby/Pet Gate by Tammy Walker

We have a very wide door for which we were looking for a baby gate. We found this one and went to install it and ran into some issues with how to position the gate. The entrance to the gate had to be completely on one side and all other metallic gate connections had to be connected on the other side. Because of this, the gate became very unstable when pressed. Luckily we have a friend who can weld 2 metal bars for us to attach to the top and bottom of the bars to stabilize the gate. If you are another person in the same situation, just keep that in mind. I'm sure the gate would have no safety issues if the bar sections were evenly spaced on each side. Other than that, the performance of the gate is fantastic! The hold open and auto close features are very useful and work like a charm. I would still recommend this gate given the limitations above. The rest of the design seems stable.
