PC Manufacturers Look elsewhere

I used this on a previous PC build (the one where the monitor was crooked first) and as I remembered it did that perfectly Given what I needed I decided to go ahead and buy another one for a new build. As soon as I received it, I remembered how painful it was to install. You have to order special 90 degree connectors and then figure out a way to hold it up (I think the first time I went with zip ties). It worked fine but wasn't the best. So after a little research, I found another option that was only a few bucks and had actual attachment points (I didn't know when I bought it, but it arrived). with all the necessary cables to connect it, so the price is actually balanced, maybe even cheaper). So I sent this one back and settled for the one (which is pictured on the newer build - the final picture). Now I can't hit this product too hard because it was designed for the Pi while the other seemed to be human-centric. for your PC as it has become very popular. I haven't tried both for Pi, so if that's your goal, it might be even better. But if, like me, you're hoping to use it as an internal monitor for your PC, I'd go with the other option (I won't link to a competitor's product, but it's quite popular, so a little searching should help). This monitor had fantastic resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a great touchscreen that's pretty impressive for the price, to be honest. Not a bad monitor at all.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
